Retired Church of Uganda Archbishop, Henry Luke Orombi, made a stopover at Mubende High Court where he interacted with Judicial Officers, administrative staff, advocates and court users at both the High Court and Chief Magistrates Court.
The Archbishop, who was on his way to Kasese, was received by the Resident Judge, Kazibwe Moses Kawumi, Ag Deputy Registrar, HW Rogers Kinobe, Assistant Registrar, HW Dr Daniel Lubowa and the Chief Magistrate HW Carol Kabugho Byakutaga among others.
The Resident Judge thanked the Archbishop for considering the stopover at his Court. He requested the Archbishop to briefly talk to the staff present at court and also bless them, which the Bishop accepted.
The Archbishop encouraged the Judicial Officers to serve the public diligently because Psalms23 guarantees Jesus presence with them.
He thanked them for the warm welcome he received and also congratulated the Resident Judge for looking after the place and the staff well.
The Archbishop appealed to the users of the court to always share their views with the Head of other authorities at the Court to have their grievances solved.
He encouraged the staff to always put God first in their endeavors, to enable them serve with humility.
He assured the officers that since the Court is along the road, he will always pass by to check and bless the staff when passing through the District.
The staff present thanked the Bishop for the rare opportunity he accorded them by accepting to share, counsel and bless them at their work place. Others in attendance were HW Kedi Paul and HW Hillary Kiwanuka, Magistrates Grade I at Mubende CM Court.
Bishop Orombi concluded the visit by blessing the members present and proceeded to Kasese where he is heading for a mission week.
